Here is a photo of a tree with a massive midsection of poison ivy. The tree leaves, mostly visible on the left and top, are green and looking healthy. But the poison ivy leaves around the mid section are much richer green, much thicker and downright happier.

Notice that the entire trunk is also covered with poison ivy vines, and you can’t see it, but the ground around the tree is also thickly covered in poison ivy ground vines.

This mix of tree greenery with poison ivy greenery fools lots of people and results in many nasty rashes. Speaking of which…  have you visited our Skin Rash Hall of Fame???
