This is the ONLY product that will allow you to detect if a plant is poison ivy, poison oak, or poison sumac.

You cut into the bark or stem and touch the pink wipe to the oil (wearing rubber gloves!!!) and if it turns purple you have detected one of those three nasty plants.

While the wipes are not sensitive enough to detect the urushiol oil on your tools or your dog, it will always detect if the plant oil is the bad stuff.

Many people can spot poison ivy and may not need these. But spotting poison sumac is much more difficult. And in the fall when the leaves drop off it is really hard to tell any of these plants.

So consider buying a packet of theses wipes. They come in a dark green bag to protect from light and will stay workable for years.
