The race is on!

These two climbing poison ivy vines are starting a race up the same utility pole, side by side.

Notice how they grew out of a mess of ground vines. They both discovered a climbable pole and headed straight up.

If nobody interferes they could end up climbing to the very top of the pole with two inch thick hairy vines.

Hopefully a utility worker will safely remove them before they live to their full potential.
