This is the sort of rash you can get when you use a weed whacker string trimmer while wearing shorts.

The string trimmer will whip lots of poison ivy sap (urushiol oil) right at your legs.

Alternate method: have your dog run through a big patch of poison ivy and then pass through your legs, rubbing the sap into your skin.
