It is everywhere right now in the northern states: poison ivy is among most lovely fall color you will see, which will likely cause a few sad people to pick poison ivy leaves to decorate the house. The results can be really awful.

Fall poison ivy

For all of its tough-guy reputation, eastern poison ivy is one of the first plants to give in and turn colors in the late summer. No idea why it does this before even the other vines, like Virginia creeper turn.
