I’ve been an ivy victim on and off most of my life, so I am pretty aware of my surroundings. This spring I dug a post hole down by the lake – no poison ivy in sight. It was kinda warm, so I took off my shirt but kept the tee shirt on. When I got the hole mostly dug out, I got down on the ground and reached my arms in to clean out the hole. Yup, poison ivy roots down there.
