Poison Ivy or Oak Face Rash

Poison Ivy or Oak Face Rash

This little fellow has a nasty rash on his face and around his eyes. He probably touched the poison ivy with his hands and then rubbed his face, transferring the oil to the tender skin.

Often the hands don't get the rash because the skin there is thicker, the oil gets rubbed off by activity before it penetrates, or we wash our hands but not our face.
