Fall Fence Monster

fall poison ivy on fence

Here is yet another example of how poison ivy reveals itself in the fall. We have likely driven by this vine growing on a fence many times. But because the poison ivy turned such great yellow, orange, and red – we noticed it.

We have learned that leaving a note for a homeowner that they have poison ivy, and should be careful, is not always met with thanks. Sometimes people think we are trying to pull a scam, like the roving driveway repair people.

So we wished these folks a silent Good Luck, took the photo, and drove on.

Keep in mind that Virginia creeper also turns colors in the fall, usually not as garish as poison ivy.
