Dry California Poison Oak View

California poison oak

Poison oak is found in much of California. It is very adaptable to the dry conditions and it leafs change in shape and size depending on how hot and sunny it is.

This is Pacific poison oak, the only one of the poison ivy-oak-sumac family to be found in California.

You can find it from the damp hillside overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge all the way to this terribly infested fence on the edge of dry, dusty field.

We sell a poster just about west coast poison ivy and poison oak, and our SeeLeaf detection wipes are perfect for checking on a plant's true identify.
