These projects call out for professional help!
When you cut down thick, old poison ivy or poison oak vines you unleash huge amounts of plant sap, which contains the urushiol oil that causes the rash. This happens in ALL seasons. So cutting the vines has to be done with great care - people often wear hazmat suits for this work.
Spraying these giant stands of poison ivy with weed killer can also be quite hazardous - best left to professionals. |
