Apple orchards can easily have poison ivy.

Poison ivy likes to grow on on fences - like at the edges of apple orchards.

And farmers will not want to use herbicide to kill the poison ivy and risk killing the apple trees.

So enjoy your apple picking, but watch out - especially around the edges of the field.
